Summer School!

Luke, Isabel and even Sylvia have had a lot of fun going to summer school.  Isabel has taken the classes, School Yard Games, Raggedy Quilt Sewing, Comic Book Character Creations, and here she is with something she made from her Edible Art class.

Luke took, School Yard Games, Design Your Own Video Game, Comic Book Character Creations and here he is with his homemade Silly Putty from his Not Your Normal Science Class.

Girl Party!

A few girlfriends and I took our little girls to the beauty school to get manicures.  Can you just imagine them 60 years from now gossiping at the beauty parlor!?

The girls have been watching all of the Dalmation cartoons like crazy lately.  Here is Sylvia's fantastic drawing of guess what...dalmations!

While driving home from Sylvia's preschool, she said, "MOM, I haven't said the word 'thumbs' for a long time!" So being the good mom that I am, I told her that she better start saying "thumbs" a lot right now to make up for lost time!  So the whole way home I got to hear her say, "Thumbs thumbs thumbs THUMBS!"  Or actually, "FUMBS" as she says it.

Dictator

The other day Sylvia said to Luke, "Luke, you're such a little craft." Also, yesterday during our history lesson I explained to Luke and Isabel that a dictator is someone who makes the rules and bosses everyone else around and no one else gets a say.  Luke pointed out, "Like you mom!"  Me: "Yup, exactly like me!" :)
