So many of my paintings are inspired by the smallest things. I got the idea for Paper Hearts when I asked my five year old, "What is your favorite thing to do?" Her response, "Cutting out hearts!"

Here is my least favorite part, CUTTING. Cutting requires exact measuring, a perfectionist mind and probably better tools than I have. But at least it is done...for now.
