Lift Off
This painting started off as a few harmless sleepwalkers, but when I finished sketching, they were levitating.

Here is a picture from 1965 of my mother and father in my grandmother's house sitting in front of the painting of the San Xavier mission.
Hair Knitters 8"x10" available in my eBay shop.
My sister and I had thin wispety hair when we were girls. My grandmother sewed us some silky hair. Despite the "little Bo Peep" comments, we LOVED our yellow hair and knew we were gorgeous whenever we would put our hair on. As you can see by the baby dolls in the pictures, my other grandmother knitted and crocheted. All of this inspired me to paint Hair Knitters. (That's me in blue.)
Here I am modeling my long Rapunzelish locks.
