We took a trip to the Mini Time Machine Museum today, one of our favorite places to visit. They have a wonderful collection of miniatures, some dating back to the 1800s.

A few days ago we drove through Solvang, CA and visited a Hans Christian Andersen Museum.
Some Dutchy paper cutty things and a portrait.
Some really fun old books.
I've never loved most of his stories. The Ugly Duckling...meh. The Princess and the Pea...meh. But strangely enough, my very favorite fairy tale came from him. The Wild Swans.
I have a very fun idea of a girl and some swan brothers in my head now.
