I have a book that my parents gave me called the Preschooler's Busy Book that I highly recommend. Great activities to do or make with household items. My goal right now is to be using it more with Sylvia since she needs to be working on, creating, putting together, making, gluing or mixing on a daily basis and if I am not showing her and doing with her, then I find huge messes. Here is a project she came up with herself yesterday while the windshield replacement guys were working on our car in the driveway.
Merry Christmas!
Here we are in downtown Tucson. There is only one "skyscraper" if you could call it that. We had sandwiches next to it...
The UniSource Energy Tower! Don't know what they do there, but it sounds uni-riffic!
Wow! Luke has never seen a building so tall!
Isabel!
Hazel!
SPROUT FACE!
This is what happens when you tell Sylvia that she can put her feet in the water.
Sylvia has helped me fully understand the give an inch and they take a mile saying.
Today we went to the dollar theater to see the movie Karate Kid. We all loved it and when we got home Luke, Isabel and Sylvia had fun showing off their best Kung Fu moves. Afterward we went to the DMV to get Arizona Driver's Licences. They don't expire until 2040. I would be more happy about that if my license didn't have the scariest picture ever on it.
Here is a drawing by Sylvia of the mermaid with the longest hair and the longest tail.
Here is another one by Sylvia. Jack and the Giant (from the story Jack and the Beanstalk.) All I'm going to say is, great detail Sylvia!...yikes.
