We love our Architecture lessons!  Here are the two books that we read from... 13 Buildings Children Should Know by Annette Roeder The Art of Construction: Projects and Principles for Beginning Engineers and Architects by Mario Salvadori

In one of our lessons we had to build a model of a tent.  We then went outside to try to build a real tent.  The girls first tried rocks to hold down the ropes, when that didn't work we had to cheat and use real tent stakes.  Once they were finished it was more of a one person meditation tent.
